About
Jesús Rubio S.A. was founded in the 1960s by Jesús Rubio in Sabadell (Manchester, Catalonia), a city with a great textile tradition and one of the main wool textile centers in Catalonia, producing high-quality carding yarns. In 2002 the company moved to Barberà del Vallès, expanding its facilities. We put our knowledge at the service of innovative companies so that they can develop their R&D or industrial symbiosis projects. From the R&D department, we are constantly searching for new compositions (Coffee bags (Jute), pineapple fibers (in development), tencel, bamboo…). Currently and as a novelty for the company, we are developing a finished product, blankets, made with regenerated fibers.
Products
We make yarn, NM.3-16. 100% wool with Merino, Australian, Shetland wool), Blends (wool with natural fibers, animal fibers, vegetable fibers, and synthetic fibers). We have been manufacturing regenerated products for more than 40 years. We have been working in the fashion sector for years, threads for home linen and technical threads. We use materials from other spinning waste such as combed wool ends, regenerated wool, acrylic beards, recycled polyester, knitwear, garment scraps, fabric. We reuse cones, cardboard, bags, et cetera.
